About Us
We are not experts who found wellness. We are two women — a mother and daughter — who got curious about our own healing and couldn’t stop searching.
Between us, we have walked through therapy rooms and ceremony circles, sat with thought leaders and quiet elders, read the books and felt the practices in our own bodies. We gathered everything that helped us — from psychology, indigenous wisdom, somatic work, and philosophy — and brought it to one place.
That place is Willow Nest.
We know what it feels like to be over 30 and quietly stuck. To have tried things — the apps, the books, the practices, the therapists — and still feel like you’re holding pieces that don’t quite fit together. To open your phone on a Sunday morning and find a hundred different answers to a question you can’t even fully name yet. That overwhelm is not a failure. It is what happens when a woman who is ready to heal is handed a marketplace instead of a community.
We built this for the woman who is tired of searching in pieces. Who wants her mind, her body, and her spirit tended to — without being told how. Who is ready to come home to herself, on her own terms.
This is not a program. It is a gathering. Come in. There is room for all of you.

Haley Sheehan, LMFT
Co-Founder & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Haley Sheehan (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist and co-founder of Willow Nest Wellness, a mind-body-spirit sanctuary devoted to wholehearted healing, intentional living, and inner transformation. She works with young adults, individuals, and couples who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, trauma, and a disconnection from self.
With warmth, attunement, and curiosity, Haley blends traditional talk therapy with emotionally focused and experiential approaches that gently guide clients back to themselves. Her work invites people to slow down, tune inward, explore core wounds with compassion, and cultivate meaningful change rooted in self-trust, emotional clarity, and aligned values.
Haley holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and has advanced training in emotionally focused and trauma-informed modalities. She brings a holistic lens to the healing process, honoring the ways our stories live not only in our minds but in our bodies and nervous systems.
Willow Nest Wellness is a co-creation with her mother—a lifelong seeker, geologist, and entrepreneur—and was born from their shared desire to create a space where wellness is both soulful and grounded. Together, they envision a cozy, elegant nest where personal healing and spiritual exploration coexist with intentional living, ritual, and rest.
Outside of therapy, Haley finds joy in movement, nature, rainy Sundays, meaningful conversation, and discovering beauty in the everyday.

Sarah Hetznecker, MBA — Co-Founder
Entrepreneur · Student of MicMac and Cree healing traditions · Lifelong seeker · The roots beneath everything we build
For most of my adult life, I have lived two lives simultaneously.
In one, I was building companies. Co-founding a renewable energy startup in 2000 and selling it seven years later. Leading a $900 million portfolio as President of PSEG Solar Source. Serving as CEO of a utility-scale solar and storage company. Being appointed by the Governor of Pennsylvania to the state’s energy and climate advisory bodies. Spending two decades as one of the early pioneers of the American solar industry — before most people knew what solar was.
In the other, I was sitting with elders.
For fifteen years, I studied traditional medicine and healing practices with indigenous teachers of the MicMac and Cree tribes. I learned what the land holds. What the seasons ask of us. What our ancestors knew about the body, the spirit, and the invisible threads that connect all living things. I didn’t study this from books. I learned it the way it has always been learned — through relationship, through presence, through the slow and sacred work of being a student.
For a long time, I kept these two lives in separate rooms.
The boardroom and the ceremony. The financial model and the medicine wheel. The executive and the seeker.
Then I realized: they were never separate. They were always the same impulse — to understand what makes things grow. What makes people come alive. What creates something from nothing and sustains it over time.
That realization is what became Willow Nest.
I am not a wellness expert who arrived with all the answers. I am a woman who has spent thirty years asking the deepest questions she could find — and seeking out the people most qualified to answer them.
I have sat in seminars and ceremonies, boardrooms and sweat lodges. I have studied peak performance and personal transformation alongside Tony Robbins. I have learned root-cause healing approaches from functional medicine pioneers Dr. Mark Hyman and Dr. Mark Pettus. I have read voraciously, traveled intentionally, and shown up — again and again — as a student, not a sage.
I founded a nonprofit dedicated to making indigenous North American teachings accessible to people who would never otherwise encounter them. I built a renewable energy company from a startup into a $50 million enterprise and sold it — twice demonstrating that you can build something with both vision and values.
And through all of it, I kept learning.
That is what I bring to Willow Nest. Not a credential. A lifetime.
I am here to curate — to gather the most transformative teachings, practices, and wisdom I have encountered across three decades of searching, and offer them to you in one place. Because no one should have to spend thirty years finding what I found. That search is what I am doing on your behalf.
I am a lifelong learner. A voracious reader. An entrepreneur who believes that the best business you can build is one that genuinely changes lives.
And I am my daughter’s mother — which means I am also, somehow, the luckiest woman in the room.
Welcome to the nest. We have been gathering this for you for a very long time.
